Issue five is a structural callback to our very first issue, serving up reflections on appetite, aromatic rites, and even a prayer for Judee Sill. The nine-page folded zine was printed via two-color risograph here in Chicago with help from our pals at Secco Studio and support from the ~Real~ ones at Broda. Featuring contributions from a blessed collection of wizards including Se Young Au, Shea Anthony, Mikki Itzigsohn, Anna Lucia, Cocaine Rodeo, Laura Weiler, and Jason P. Woodbury. Limited to 300 copies.
A love letter to romance itself, issue six is an homage to the ways love allows us to grow ~ both together, and within ourselves. Filled to the gills with sentimental pleasures and charming treasures, from a married couple’s curated collection of love’s material artifacts, to musings on the classroom of romantic relations from a former Buddhist nun, and reflections on the unspoken moments of tenderness we experience growing up in the company of familiar films. Risograph printed in Heart of Gold and Anahata Green ink and assembled by our friends, the truly spectacular Cosmic Doghouse Press.
